Captain's Locker

Give Your Cargo a Second Voyage

Not every item needs to be sold.

Sometimes a shirt no longer fits.

Sometimes a jacket sits in a closet for years.

Sometimes a craft supply, tool, book, decoration, or household item simply deserves a new home.

Captain's Locker was created for those moments.

Instead of throwing useful items away, you can donate them to the Locker and help keep the treasure circulating.

What Is Captain's Locker?

Captain's Locker is the donation section of ThriftyPort.

Items listed in Captain's Locker have been donated by members of the community rather than listed for profit.

These items are made available to other Captains looking for useful goods, affordable clothing, interesting treasures, and secondhand finds.

Our goal is simple:

Keep good items out of landfills and in the hands of people who can use them.

Why Donate?

Many Captains simply want to clear space.

Others want to help someone else.

Some people enjoy the idea that their favorite jacket, old boots, craft supplies, books, or collectibles may continue their journey with someone new.

Captain's Locker allows useful cargo to keep sailing.

The Captain's Locker Spirit

Captain's Locker is not about making a profit.

It is about:

  • Reducing waste

  • Helping others

  • Extending the life of useful goods

  • Building a stronger community

  • Giving old cargo a new purpose

Every donated item represents one less item in a landfill and one more opportunity for someone else.

Clothing Finds New Waters

Many items donated through Captain's Locker are clothing.

A jacket that no longer fits one Captain may become someone's favorite jacket.

A pair of boots gathering dust may become part of a new adventure.

A complete outfit may help someone prepare for work, church, a special event, or a night out.

Good clothing deserves a second voyage.

Full Outfit Donations

Captains may donate complete outfits as a single cargo listing.

Examples include:

  • Sunday Best

  • Girls' Night Out

  • Cool Grandpa

  • Gothic Harbor

  • Steampunk Captain

  • Vintage Explorer

Outfit donations are transferred as complete sets whenever possible.

Fair Winds, Good Captains

Captain's Locker exists because useful things deserve another chance.

Every donation helps keep the harbor moving.

Every donated item carries a story.

Every second voyage begins with a Captain willing to let go of something they no longer need.

Thank you for helping keep the treasure circulating.

Fair winds, Captain.
